Santa Monica Pier

Ella Moss dress, Frye sandals, Ray-Ban Sunglasses, H&M belt

I've been dying to take trapeze lessons for a while now. I'm hoping to finally do it sometime this summer.

I love dippin dots

As I mentioned earlier this week, I spent Saturday at an event on the Santa Monica pier with friends. It was warm and sunny and I was delighted to spend the day outdoors. The pier is just a few blocks from where I live, so I was able to walk over and take full advantage of the sunshine. We did all the touristy pier activities (games, rides, cotton candy, etc) and fully enjoyed our day as tourists in our own city.

You are of course too cute =) I love that you and your friends acted like out of towners; I think it is the best way to rediscover your own surroundings. Cute cute dress!

I love 'rediscovering' places by enjoying them in a touristy way...not just walking through like you've been there a billion times.

Was that iced coffee?? If so, Mmmm, my favorite beverage (which I'll be posting about soon:)!)

Wow - trapeze lessons would be so cool!! You should definitely do it...

That picture with the octopus is hilarious! I can tell how much fun you had. Isn't being a tourist in your own city the best?!? I need to get to SF and do this soon.

Ah, this makes me think of Atlantic City or the Jersey Shore. When I was like four my mom used to bring me there all the time - love! You are incredibly adorable, by the way - the nautical look completely suits you!! :)

SM Pier is super fun! I love getting the chance to play "tourist" for the day. I wish I could do it more often. :) A ride on the ferris wheel is a must on a clear day! The view is so gorgeous!

You look adorable, as always Valerie!

looks like you had a great day! you have to get pictures if you do the trapeze bit. you are brave but based on your yoga skills i bet you'd be a natural.

on another note - how about that sebastian drench?? now if i could just find the perfect combo to master the wave sans blowdrying and scrunching. argh

i hear you on the stringy bit too. if it helps any, i think your hair looks full - not stringy at all. xo

Oh my gosh, we do that too! I just did it last month, I mean - I picked 1 picture from each vacation we've been on together and put it in an 8x10 frame...I have 8 of them on one wall but need to expand some more. Great minds think alike :) I'm sure yours are great!
