Paradise Cove

Possibly the largest order of guacamole I've ever seen.

Sarah and Bunz

They let you drink wine on the beach!

Gabe had the weekend off and we joined Sarah, Bunz, and their out of town friends (Bree and Andrew) at Paradise Cove on Saturday. If you're ever in Los Angeles, it's definitely a great place to visit. It's a restaurant/beach/scene in Malibu with great people watching, food, and cocktails. The weather was beautiful on Saturday and we had lunch and drinks in the sand while watching the waves. We all felt like we were on vacation! It was the perfect way to spend a Saturday.

whoa! that IS the biggest portion of guacamole i've ever seen...yikes!

and isn't it strange that further south down the coast we sat in a dense fog all day long on saturday? it was nice though. perfect timing actually.

looks like you had a great time with your friends. :)

I reckon I'd look as happy as you do if I was on a beach with sky that blue and a wine in my hand! Looks like it was a great day out!

yayyyy - looks like lots of fun! - i like going to "The Shell" on LBI - it's a lil tiki bar that's on the beach .. they bring palm tree's in and all - only problem - you leave there having to find a second job (haha very pricey, for NO reason)

It looks like an amazing time! I'm working on planning a little LA area weekend getaway for my husband's birthday in August and might have to pick your brain sometime!

Ahhh I'm jonesing for the beach, and I was just there. And I'm dedicating a week to it on my blog. Yes, I'm a nerd.

Val,

That place looks awesome. I love the outdoor "beds." They remind me of a resort. And that guacamole looks delicious.

Have a great week,

Those outta towners must have a lucky star (or maybe it's you!). Everyone I spoke to in The Bu said it was socked in a gross on Sat. I was feeling sorry for you guys sitting there freezing. It was socked in most of the day in the So Bay too. Sooooo weird and awesome that you had such a gorgeous day!!

Wow...I think I've been living under a rock. I've lived less than an hour away from LA for my entire life, w/ a cousin right there in Santa Monica, and I've never heard of this place!! Okay, definitely this summer- time for me to venture out of little suburb corner of the world:).

Looks amazing! The guac made it all perfect. We have Galveston to visit in Texas, but it's nothing like the West Coast. Jealous!

This is another reason I want to visit Cali. Places like this make me a happy girl. I just love being by the water and this restaurant looks so fun and relaxing. I’d love to take a glass of wine out on the beach and watch the ocean.

The guacamole looks delish and I love the photos of you and your friends!
