Rainy Weekend

best movie ever
 Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies (recipe here)
 Gabe loves playing this one.
I just picked up some new chick-lit from the library. {via}
It's supposed to rain most of the weekend and I have to admit I'm looking forward to a relaxing few days indoors.  I'm hoping to watch movies (my favorites are listed here), bake cookies, play board games, eat comfort food (I'm making this for dinner tonight), and read.  I can't imagine a better way to spend a rainy weekend. I'll be back on Tuesday to tell you all about it.  How do you spend your free time when it's raining?

Rain? If only it had been raining, and not snowing! This year, the winter don't seem to be going away anytime soon. I hate it! The cold weather and the snow has lasted since the middle of November, and even more snow is forecast for this weekend, while a new Snowmageddon is promised for next week.

While I cry in desperation over the spring that sees so far, far away, I think I'll try and stay away from the weather outside by painting the rest of my living room walls. So on this weekend's shopping agenda: I need to get more paint for the walls and Kleenex for my tears.

I miss CA rain. Those days when it just rains all day and you can camp out inside and relax. Here it storms, but no calm all day rain. Enjoy it!

Ferris!! It's hard to believe he's married to SJP. I feel old. And hungry looking at your post! Confession: I baked cookies at midnight last night. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate and peanut butter chip. As I threw in the pb chips I totally thought of you!

Have a great weekend. I think I need to have what you're having for dinner tonight. Yum!

First of all, thank you for your nice comment today! It does feel good to feel strong... very good.

Yay- for cookies, and games, and chic lit!! This rainy weekend, I'll be reading (book club book- The Mabelline Story), playing my newest obsession- Biggest Loser Wii Ultimate Challenge, cooking (maybe baking- if I can trust myself to stay away from what I bake!), and as usual, laundry. Have a wonderful weekend... see ya Tuesday =).

Flash back central! I love DATE LINE! OHMAHGAWSH. I want to find this game again and play it!
I love rainy days, it's an excuse to bust out my soft sweat pants and snuggle up with my bitten kitten. I love renting movies from itunes and ordering delivery. I always feel so lazy and fatty the next day! But I justify it with, "Hey! It was so nasty and cold/wet out, I had no other choice but to stay in".
