It's finally Friday and I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend with lots of rain (and
indoor activities) as well as a date with girlfriends to watch the Oscar's on Sunday. And by "Oscar's" I mean "red carpet" since I'm admittedly more interested in the gowns than the awards. In an effort to prepare myself for all the beautiful dresses, I've been reminiscing on my favorites from years past. Will you be watching the Oscar's this weekend?

Ill definitely be watching! I DVR everything so I can skip all the commercials :)
I'll be watching the red carpet and the first maybe half an hour or so of the ceremony before I'll lose interest. I love the dresses and the Best/Supporting Actor/Actress awards but the rest, not so much.

I like the dresses the most.. and the big awards, but I'm usually most excited to watch Fashion Police the next day and hear Joan Rivers hilarious critiques. Have a great weekend!
I sadly have to work Sunday night so I'll miss it. I'll just have to look to everyone else for the gown recap...I mean winners...

I'm actually going to dinner at Girl and the Goat (top chef's restaurant in chicago) terribly hard to get reservations for, i think i made mine in november. so my dvr will be set for the oscars!
i absolutely love the red carpet and the acceptance speeches. those get me! i'll be the weird girl sitting there kind of weeping when the actors get emotional. i don't know what's wrong with me...

I totally agree...I end up recording the show and fast forwarding through most of it later. The red carpet is the important part!!

demi moore looked so good in that dress. michelle williams was a total knockout, too. we might catch it this year...usually we run off to dinner and a movie b/c the town's dead and we have it all to ourselves!
