Bunz' parents (Marni and Chris), me, Gabe, and Bunz
Bunz' parents were in town recently and took us to a fabulous dinner at Mastro's. The old-school piano bar vibe is inviting, the portions are enormous, and the food is out of this world. I've never had anything here that wasn't off the charts incredible and this trip was no exception. We had the seafood tower, oysters, wasabi caesar salad, steak, mac & cheese, crab gnocchi, shoe string fries, and key lime pie. It was great to see Bunz' parents and we had a blast catching up over an amazing meal. This is by far my favorite restaurant in town.

This place is the BEST! I am actually going there on Friday and can't wait. My favorite are the lobster mashed potatoes and cream of corn. I can't wait!!

PS- Love your outfit.
Totally had me at "Mac & Cheese"... sounds like a perfect restaurant, with my kind of food!
Wow- 2 upcoming trips?? Fun, but I can see why it would add "complexity" to an already full holiday-plate at the same time. We go to San Jose the week after Christmas every year, and that is even hectic! Thankfully, Ryan (or I when I used to work there) can't take off for the holidays, so it kind of keeps us *in place:). BUT, that's not to say that I wouldn't LOVE to be in your shoes, going on fun excursions too!
I look forward to hearing (and seeing) more about them!
Looks like a great evening! And those shrimp...yum!
