What Would I Do Without my Boyfriend Jeans?

Joe's boyfriend jeans, Anthropologie cross-body bag, H&M blouse, Aldo shoes

I love the library.

A few weeks ago when I was picking an out an outfit in my closet with Gabe in the next room, I proclaimed, "What would I do...without my boyfriend jeans?". My boyfriend jeans have become a huge part of my life and wardrobe. They're always there for me when I want something comfortable to wear. I don't necessarily think they're flattering but they're stylish and easy and that counts for a lot in my book. Gabe poked his head in the closet, looking deflated and said, "I thought you were going to say, 'What would I do without you?'" Well, needless to say, we both had a good laugh because suddenly my boyfriend jeans had taken precedence over my husband. In reality, of course I prefer my husband over these jeans, but the point is that they're both important. Right?

Gabe had this weekend off, which is always so exciting for us. We ran many errands and were quite productive as well as having dinner at Sushi Roku (our favorite), going for a bike ride on our beach cruisers, and getting some new books at the library. What did you do this weekend?

Your weekend sounded fun. Love the jeans! And your hair is amazing btw! Our weekend was jam-packed with events going on, so today will definitely be a restful one, of exciting laundry and changing sheets on beds. Fun! (enter sarcasm here)

You look great in those jeans!!!!!! You definitely have to have the right shape to pull them off without actually looking like a boy. You definitely pulled them off!! Love what you paired them with! :)

You look absolutely adorable, Valerie! I love how you've styled your boyfriend jeans -- the pretty white blouse and heels keep them from feeling too boyish. So cute!

I've been thinking about getting boyfriend jeans! I've always saw Joe's jeans, just never tried them on. Do you they run a bit bigger or smaller?

Heck yeah! Jean are way important! They can make or break your butt! Haha. And of course husbands are very special too. ;)

Your hubby is a surgeon and you're squeamish around blood?! I totally get that. It took me a while before I could get used to being around blood. It still freaks me out.

A+ for your styling! I am the same about my bf jeans--what did I wear before I had them? I love your cross body bag, that's the one element I'm missing! Hope you're off to a good week!

Your boyfriend jeans look pretty cute to me. I think it's a perfect outfit for a day in the library. I recently started reading again and I love it. It's so relaxing.

Our common love for sushi will always bring us together =) I actually don't have a pair of bf jeans... clearly I need to change that!!! Might I just add, your hair looks fantastic in this post!!! So healthy and shiny!!! Of course, you are such a healthy person, it makes sense that your hair would follow suit.
And I too love the library.

Thanks for your sweet comment. It made me smile!

I TOTALLY AGREE!! I am in love with mine. Got a pair last summer at LF in NY! I agree, also, that they aren't the most flattering jeans.. but they are comfy and look fab! :)
