Easter Candy

While Easter has never been one of my favorite holidays, it definitely offers the best candy of the year. Why is it that the Easter holiday gives candy companies the rights to make the BEST candy and then take it off the shelves for the remaining 11 months of the year? And what is it about Easter candy that is so much better than the sweets displayed during other holiday seasons? For one, it's the Cadberry chocolate. This chocolate is the smoothest, creamiest, most delicious chocolate around and it literally melts in your mouth. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you MUST try it this year. I prefer the mini eggs or the caramel eggs to the more traditional Cadberry eggs with the filling that looks like a real yolk. I also drool over the Reese's pieces eggs which are enormous in comparison to regular Reese's pieces, Reese's peanut butter cups (egg shape, of course), and any Easter bubble gum. Since this candy only comes around once a year, I give myself the green light to overindulge. What's your favorite Easter candy?

the original cadbury cream eggs are my favorite~! my mom gave us some, and i tried desperately not to eat them in one sitting, but they were calling to me (i swear, they were saying "eat me eat me eat me") so i had to indulge. yum!!! thank god they aren't around all year!
