I had the most relaxing weekend, filled with long walks, beach side bike rides, Thai food, tacos, and a movie night at home (we finally saw The Fighter and loved it).  It feels like Spring has finally arrived and we took full advantage of the 80 degree weather by spending most of our time outdoors.  How was your weekend?

Now that it's officially Spring, I'm making a list of all the warm weather activities I'm excited to do.  I love this time of year for the sunshine, longer days, and warm temperatures but I also enjoy the overall lighthearted feeling that comes with the upcoming months.  Here are a few of the things I'm anticipating this Spring.  What are you looking forward to this season?

Spring Wish List

1. Alice + Olivia Rolled Cuff Shirtdress
2. Juicy Couture Lace Shift Dress
3. Urban Outfitters BDG Primary Satchel
4. Tory Burch Eddie Ballet Flats

As all the stores are being stocked with Spring clothes, I'm forcing myself to "shop my closet" and stick with what I currently have.  I've allowed myself a few exceptions this season including a midi dress/skirt, something made of lace, a bright bag, and a pair of nude flats.  What are you in the market for this season?

Bright is the New Black

1. Asos Covered Lock Clutch $21.52 (sale)
2. Topshop Waterfall Drape Shorts in Emerald $70
3. Topshop Pink One Shoulder Floaty Blouse $80
4. Parker Double Ruffle Dress $187
5. Dolce Vita Idalia $150
6. Ray-Ban New Wayfarer $109

It's been uncharacteristically cold in Southern California lately and I've been dreaming of sunshine, warm temperatures and beach days.  When I think of warmer weather, I automatically picture bright colors and this year I'm in good company as colorful clothes and accessories are everywhere.  I've been searching for the perfect bright yellow clutch and at only $21, I think I just found it at Asos.  Are you embracing bright colors?

J.Crew Spring

I realize I'm not the only one who's fallen in love with the J.Crew's Spring line.  If I wasn't already anxious for warm weather, their bright colors, stripes, and statement jewelry are definitely making me long for 80 degree temperatures.  I can picture myself wearing these pieces to all summer events from pool parties to date nights and everything in between.  What clothes are you looking forward to wearing this Spring?
