Starting this week, Santa Monica Place is showing free "Movies on the Deck" every Wednesday from 7-10pm.  If you haven't made it to the rooftop dining deck at Santa Monica Place, this is the perfect opportunity to check it out.  Gabe and I are planning a date night here to watch Ferris Bueller's Day Off (our favorite) on April 27th and hoping to catch a few more when we can.  During March, they're also offering a giveaway to the first 100 guests.  Have a great weekend!

9-When Harry Met Sally
16-The Godfather
23-Casablanca
30-Sixteen Candles

*During March, giveaways available for first 100 guests.
*While supplies last. Must be at least 18 years old. Limit one giveaway per customer. Void where prohibited. See concierge for terms and conditions.

April

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sounds like so much fun. All of them are such great movies too. We have movies in the park here but it's much more of a family affair, Disney movies and such with screaming kids running around. Fun once or twice but not the same.

this will be great! chicago does something similar called movies in the park. it's so fun. we'd bring blankets, apps and wine. unfortunately for us midwesterners it's only in the summer.

Fun! I went to something similar in Melbourne last month: a rooftop cinema in the middle of the CBD. We sat on beach chairs and watched The Hangover, surrounded by buildings. It was one of the best nights.

I've just rediscovered Sixteen Candles, so I would have to go and see it but Ferris Bueller is pretty awesome too! Enjoy!

How fun! I love that movie..and speaking of free movies..I flew back from LA this week and the flight was slightly delayed so the airline let us watch the movies free. I finally saw The King's Speech..it was great! Hope you are having a lovely weekend.

Oh my gosh how fun is this?! I'm so bummed that when I worked in Santa Monica that mall was a total dump and right after I moved, they re-did it! Have fun, that sounds like a perfect date night!
