These Ariat Cowboy boots have quickly become a wardrobe favorite of mine, making me temporarily abandon all other boots in my closet.  I love mixing and matching different looks to create a "balanced" outfit and these boots are perfect for that.  I've been pairing them with feminine pieces (such as lace and florals) as well as edgier items like this clear studded clutch.  What's your go-to item to create an interesting dynamic to an outfit?

As I mentioned here, cute/functional/appropriate work clothes are hard to come by.  I'm constantly looking for great work dresses, only to find they're either uncomfortable or inappropriate for the office.  Enter Reality In Style.  They offer high quality work clothes that fit the bill and can easily transition to after office dinner or drinks. When they offered to send me this dress, I was excited to try it out. DIY: Clear Studded Clutch

Fendi Plexi Clutch with Swarovski Crystals

I couldn't find any studs with flat backs, so I folded in the prongs and used them as the surface for the glue.

When I caught a glimpse of this clear studded Fendi clutch, I was immediately smitten. The price tag (almost $6,000) was obviously not as appealing. I started brainstorming about how I could make a similar clutch with a clear pencil box and some pyramid studs and I ended up doing just that. I spent the majority of my Sunday gluing these studs (found on etsy) to the supply box I found at Jo-Ann Fabrics (I used E-6000 adhesive glue and a ruler to keep them straight). I couldn't be happier with the final product!
