Cinnamon Crumble Coffee Cake

Since I started this blog, I've made a valiant attempt to make everything from scratch.  But don't be fooled, I'm no stranger to mixes and "semi-homemade" recipes.  I've had this William-Sonoma Cinnamon Crumble Coffee Cake mix in my cabinet for a while and finally decided to make it.  And I'm so glad I did!  It took a matter of minutes to mix everything up and throw it in the oven, and the result was buttery, gooey, sweet, and satisfying.  I could (and did) eat it for every meal.  Here's a similar recipe if you can't find the William-Sonoma mix.  Are you a "strictly homemade" cook/baker or do you sometimes take shortcuts in the kitchen?

i prefer to make things from scratch, though there's not always time for that. so, i'm definitely not opposed to taking shortcuts (especially after a long day)!

this looks really yummy! usually the coffee cakes from the store look so dry and cumbly, but this looks moist and delicious!

I'm a strictly make-anything-that-looks-delicious kind of person. And that most certainly does. I will be hitting up my William Sonoma this week :)

I usually bake from scratch except for my blueberry muffins. I start from a box and then modify the recipe. Shhh...don't tell anyone. :)

What I would give for a piece of this right now! I do take shortcuts in the kitchen. With my schedule, it is too hard not to.

i like to try to make homemade stuff but i am NO stranger to cake mix, etc. sometimes it's nice to take a mix and jazz it up on your own :)

This looks DELICIOUS! I'm all about the semi-homemade. I swear, box brownies are just really delicious... And Rhode's cinnamon rolls... So good.

While I prefer to make things from scratch in an ideal world, the reality is that I'm really busy and mixes are the perfect remedy! Didn't know about this William-Sonoma mix, definitely going to give it a try. Thanks!
