The Meatloaf

I don't think I'll ever eat meatloaf again without thinking of this scene from Wedding Crashers. It's one of my favorite movie scenes and always makes me laugh out loud. So when I made meatloaf last week, this definitely came to mind. I used this recipe for Italian Meatloaf with ground turkey and it tasted like an enormous meatball. It was exceptional. The best part about making meatloaf is using the leftovers to make meatloaf sandwiches the next night. Delicious!

hahahaha gosh, Will Ferrel.

Meatloaf will always remind me of my grandma when she would make it and we'd wash our hands, she take off her rings and off we went diving into the bowl. Such good times.

Yum! I love meatloaf. We had it a lot as kids, and your recipe looks great. I love leftovers too. It is so nice to make enough of one meal so that you can enjoy it the next night (especially on workdays!).

That clip is hilarious! I love that movie.

ps- did you get to wear the mustard tights this weekend?

So funny. I love that scene.

And I love meatloaf as well! My cousin (who is an amazing cook- blogging about her tomorrow:) has 2 favorites- Bobby's w/ balsamic vinegar, and Tyler's w/ bacon on top. I've made them both and they are both incredible. I love Michael Chiarello and I'm sure his excellent as well. This will definitely be the next one that I try:).

Looks yummy. But like the reader above me I think of a Christmas Story every time. I like how many veggies you put in there. I'll have to try this.

That meatloaf looks yummo... and I love that movie.. that part is fantastic.. Ma!! We want it now!! Love it! I wish my kids liked meatloaf..

That actually looks pretty delicious. I guess I have these deep-seated notions of how I think meatloaf is because of the horrible variation back in the grade school cafeteria. This though looks like a piece of art.

I love that scene in the movie!

Hahaha. I love that part of the movie. I'm always hollering to my husband from the other room - "F- mom, the meatloaf!"

I have to tell you, I HATE meatloaf. Like, gag over meatloaf. But, and I cannot believe I am saying this, that looks good! I love peppers and onions and using turkey instead of beef sounds delish.

Oh yum - meatloaf made out of ground turkey. I'm going to have to try this one!

my mom makes the BEST meatloaf. I know everyone says that, but it's because she uses the same recipes for her meatballs.
