Although the word "blouse" tends to evoke images of our grandma's wardrobe, I've always had many blouses hanging in my closet. I've always worn them regularly to work. But only recently have I transitioned them from my work wardrobe to my weekend wear. Suddenly, blouses are everywhere, paired with shorts, skirts, skinny jeans, you name it! I feel like I just hit the wardrobe jackpot and have countless new options by converting my work clothes into stylish weekend outfits! Are you embracing the Blouse?

Hmmm..I can't say I have many of these but looks like I have a few options now! And...all my friends who work keep asking me how to transition work clothes to the weekend. Would love to see you in one of those fabulous blouses. Hope you had a really nice weekend,

Oh yes! I'm a huge fan of blouses and definitely have a weak spot for bows-ties. xo

I like blouses but I find them such a hassle to wash and iron... Do you take them to the dry cleaner's or iron them yourself? Very curious.

Definitely a fan of the blouses. Have to wear them all the time for work so now when I shop for one I think hmm can I wear this out at 11pm on Saturday?? Anthropologie, Ann Taylor, JCrew and Banana are my top picks for blouses. Only comment on Anthro's are that sometimes they're so unique that you can't wear them often b/c it will seem like you never change! (or maybe that's my paranoia...)

Happy Monday! Even though Mondays aren't usually happy you're one day closer to the weekend, woohoo!

I do love blouses! They seem so lady-like and remind me of retro styles. I love number three!

I can't remember which episode it was, but it was towards the end of the season on How I Met Your Mother. Worth watching! Funny and thought-provoking!

Anytime I can make something from work make sense for the weekend, I am all over it! I do have some blouses that I wear to the office, but I really haven't thought about wearing them on the weekend too. I have to start! Thanks for the great tip and take on shopping your own closet!

ha ha oh my gosh I totally feel like a dork when people see us. The other day we were taking a picture and this really old couple started waving and yelling hi at us. I was like....what have I become...a tourist attraction.

Oh yes I love blouses. Have quite a few of them. I haven't been wearing them in the summer though cause it's just too hot. Can't wait for fall and for ladylike to take over for a bit.

Hope u had a fabulous weekend! xoxo

I have a weakness for blouses with ties at the neck. I think there's a naughty retro secretary inside me just waiting to come out.
