Between our weekend of bike rides and beach time, Gabe and I were able to walk to dinner and savor the sunshine along the way. I paired this lace top with this floral flowy skirt and felt incredibly girly and old fashioned. The shoes topped it off, turning the outfit into what I like to call "grandma chic". I loved the look and feel of the lace top and can't wait to pair it with blazers and skinny jeans for fall.

Buy This, Not That
Splendid Lace Tank $47
Joie Drew B All Over Lace Tank $158After yesterday's post about all things lace, I couldn't help but feel like I needed to add a bit more of it to my wardrobe. When I found this Splendid tank in a buttery cream color, I had to buy it! I do appreciate the scalloped edges of the Joie tank, but I obviously preferred the price of the Splendid top. I'll post an outfit in it once it arrives. Which one would you choose? I hope you all have a terrific long holiday weekend!

Whether it's Spanish, Venetian, or Chantilly, lace is all around us this season. The intricately romantic details of this fabric look as radiant on a bride for her wedding day as it does on a girl hitting the town. Dress it up or dress it down, it's timeless, glamorous, and charming for any affair. I usually opt for cream, white, or blush lace for summer months but it seems anything goes this season and black is also an great option (especially in cocktail dresses). How do you wear lace during summer months?
