2. Topshop Ecru Shoulder Detail Crop Blazer $110
3. Diane Von Furstenberg Melina Striped Jacket $275

One of the best aspects of living in LA is undoubtedly the weather.  While the majority of the country is experiencing freezing temperatures and snow, we've been having 80 degree days with plenty of sunshine.  I admit, these are the times I don't mind paying exorbitant rent prices and sitting in traffic for an hour to drive 5 miles.  Given the temperate weather, I have very few winter coats and instead stick with light-weight "Spring jackets" that can be worn year round.  I love that they're versatile and can easily fit into my enormous handbag when it gets too warm out.

Love light jackets! You can get so much wear out of them.

I am soo jealous of your weather! Right now all I wear are puffer coats and wool peacoats! I'm in love with number 3 though:)

I think the ever changing weather of Chicago makes me believe I should have tons of different jackets! I love Spring jackets because no matter where you live, Spring is such a huge layering season.

And of course I love the DVF jacket. I swear I always go to the most expensive items. Yikes.

I fully intend on filling my wardrobe with little jackets this spring! I got a taste for them this fall, and now am obsessed with how easy it is to throw on a little jacket and have an outfit look completely different! I'm also moving to a slightly cooler/foggy place (a port city, close to the water) so I assume I will need plenty of these to keep me warm on cooler days this spring & summer! Really love 2, 3 & 4!

I agree. I often think that I have too many, but you really can't have too many here in so CA, right?? Given that these are the jackets I typically grab throughout the year... even in the winter! In fact, I didn't have a nice heavy coat until we had planned a trip to New York, and I realized that I really needed one to take with me!

Val I freaking burst out laughing at the sitting in traffic to drive 5 miles line!! I called the Chef and read it to him!! AHAHAHAHA!!

How I long to be well enough to experience some 80 degrees. I think I'm getting bed sores. Okay couch sores. Ugh!

Great choices and living in Boston I love to have several jackets to choose from for the various seasons. A nice blazer or jacket is definitely one of my 7 wardrobe essentials!

I adore each one of these! I always get cold in restaurants, movies, etc., so I always carry/wear a light jacket. They just make an outfit!
