As summer quickly approaches, I find myself gravitating toward feminine floral prints that remind me of clothing my mom wore when I was young. I saw that Piperlime is calling them "Vintage Florals" and that's exactly what I love about this look. They're pretty and feminine, but they also look detailed and unique. As the weather starts to turn warmer and the days get longer, I find myself only wanting to wear pretty, comfortable dresses. We all know that bright colors are all the rage this season, but pastels are a fun/pretty alternative when we want some versatility in the color department. The pale yellow is my favorite pastel and I'm hoping to scoop up a few items in this color before leaving for our Kauai vacation in a few weeks.

With wedding season surrounding us, I find myself constantly eyeing pretty Spring dresses such as this. The lace, blush color, and scalloped edges would be perfect for a Spring wedding. It's sweet and feminine while still being comfortable enough to allow you onto the dance floor. Now bring on the wedding cake and champagne!

Buy This, Not That

Remember this beautiful pink silk top from Piperlime that I found a few weeks ago? I loved it because it was bright, delicate, silky, and fun for summer date nights. Well, I just found a similar tank that comes in blue and purple for only $13.50! What a steal! I'm going to buy the Forever 21 tank in blue and purple and I'll love them that much more because of their price. What items are you obsessing over for summer?

Summer Date Outfit

This outfit epitomizes all the trends I want to wear this Spring/Summer. As always, I'm obsessed with nude color shoes and handbags, gold accessories, and aviator sunglasses. But my new obsessions for Summer 2010 are neon colors and white denim. I can't wait to get my hands on a coupon code for Piperlime so I can feel less guilty about buying this hot pink tank.
