Almost Easter
As I mentioned here, there's something about Easter candy that's so much better than the sweets offered for other holidays. I can't seem to get enough of the huge Reese's pieces eggs, Cadbury caramel eggs, and the enormous Reese's peanut butter cups. And this year, Lindt has joined the club with their incredibly rich and delicious Lindor truffle eggs. I'm looking forward to a long weekend of splurging on candy, cooking some new recipes, time with friends, and dinners with Gabe. I'll be back on Monday to tell you about it. Have a great weekend!

Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
{via}
Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! I'm spending my long weekend celebrating Whitney's birthday, riding my beach cruiser, shopping, having coffee with girlfriends, outdoor dinners with Gabe, and enjoying the beautiful 80 degree weather we're having. I'll be back tomorrow to tell you more about it. I hope you're having a great weekend!

2010
Before every new year, I reflect back on the year that's coming to and end. 2010 was one of the best I can remember. I feel happy, lucky, and blessed to be celebrating a new year with the love and support of family and friends. While I feel nostalgic towards 2010, I'm anxious to start a new year, one that's certain to bring many changes our way. I appreciate the support from each of you and am thankful for the blogger relationships I've made over the past year. Cheers to welcoming change and a happy new year!

Labor Day

For me, Labor day signifies the unofficial beginning of Fall, the start of Football season, and the onset of additional L.A. traffic (as school begins). I hope you're enjoying the long weekend. I've been spending mine at the beach, riding my bike, chatting with girl friends, having dinner with Gabe, cooking, and baking. I'll be back tomorrow to tell you more about it.
